Silicon carbide armor plate are prefectly suited for manufacturing mechanically stressed components and for engine-specific applications, especially at high temperatures, such as body Armor.
The components such as plates, rods, tubes which is made of silicon carbide ceramics are successfully used in various welding processes. Unique hot pressing process enables the cost-effective production of flat and multi-curved ceramic plates. Customer specifications are met using in-house graphite tool design and machining for rapid prototyping of custom shapes and curvatures.
